CanSkate1

For beginners ages 3+. This learn to skate program is aimed at making skating fun while learning first skating skills. Help your child become independent on the ice.

CanSkate2

This program is for independent skaters, and focuses on stops, turns, skating backward, and use of edges. The goal is to increase speed and confidence.

CanSkate Teen

Unique to Penetang Skating Club, this class is for skaters 13 and up (Grade 7 and up) who want to learn to enjoy the ice.

Adult Learn to Skate

For adults who want to learn to skate for the first time, or build confidence. Our coaching staff will provide you with tips while giving you space to practice independently.

Figure Skating

Freestyle and ice dance skills, taught in a friendly setting, with options for competitions. Expect group training, small group lessons, and private lessons tailored to an individual’s goals, with plenty of time and space for independent practice.

PreStar

This is Penetang Skating Club’s bridge between CanSkate and Figure Skating. Skaters will improve their skating and edge skills while learning their first jumps, spins, and turns.

STAR Skate

We have coaches certified to teach all Skate Canada STAR levels, with options for competitions.

Adult Skating

We have several adults in our figure skating classes, and welcome figure skaters of all levels.

PowerSkating

Enhance your hockey skills! Classes focus on balance, control, agility, power, and speed. Come ready to skate in full hockey gear!
